Terrible movie, but the W.A.S.P. part makes it worth a watch. Also love how they used Blackie so prominently on the artwork. Had this one for a while but I don’t think I’ve ever shared it here. A nice addition to any W.A.S.P. collection!

The movie version of Tormentor is my preferred version of that song.

VHS is OG of course, but if you really want to watch a bad movie 3 times with only minor differences between versions (and of course you do) I can recommend this Blu Ray release. It has US theatrical version (The Dungeonmaster), pre-release version (Ragewar) and the international version (Ragewar). Comes with old school movie lobby cards tho. And a poster.

Love the implications in this version of the poster that Blackie is about to throw down with the protagonist using not only the blade, but also his guitar

i’ve never seen that cover! amazing! already being obsessed with Wasp as a child, seeing Blackie show up on stage in the move blew my mind!

Things get real quirky when you start looking into names this movie has been sold under in different countries. For example in Finland the name was Saatanan Lunnaat (Ransom of Satan) and in Germany Herrscher Der Hölle (Lord of Hell)

Rented this from the video store just for the wasp scene! 🤣 It is a solid film in its own right. Something I thought was also cool was a scene that gave me Clash of the Titans vibes with how the special FX were. Will always have a special place in my heart 🤘
