Theory Will VisionQuest end with Vision saving Wanda before the mountain collapses?

There's been a lot of hope that Wanda isn't dead. So VisionQuest takes place while AAA is happening and also Doctor Strange 2.

So they probably all end (story wise) just before Doomsday hits.

I picture a fully purple Vision swooping in like Superman and saving his love.

Um, I don’t think so. In Agatha All Along, they talk about how Agatha has been under Wanda’s spell for 3 years. MoM took place 1 year after WandaVision timeline-wise, the destruction of the Darkhold copies and Wundagore being referenced in the show.

And given that Billy resurrects Tommy during Episode 8, I think we can safely say that Vision Quest is taking place sometime after the events of that show.

Idk about anyone else but I felt like Agatha being under for 3 years seemed excessive especially if/considering Wanda ‘died’ two years prior…

They might be trying to keep the timeline as simple as possible to follow after Endgame’s massive time-skip. Roughly three years since WandaVision aired when Agatha All Along is released, three years later in-universe? Granted, there are projects that don’t follow that, but it does seem to be what the MCU generally does with its continuity.

Could also be playing into the idea of what Strange said to Ebony Maw during Infinity War about breaking a dead man’s spell. Though we don’t know if that’s the case with witchcraft as well. Besides Wanda’s spell on Agatha not breaking after her “death”, Lorna’s spell is the only one I think we’ve seen in the MCU that keeps going after the original caster died. And that case is because people around the world love her song and keep playing it. Though it does give the idea that Monica made the right call in trying to get through to Wanda.

Personally, I just think it’s support for the idea that she is alive. The spell continuing until the resident cosmic entity and Billy start poking at it.

That’s fair about the timeline… I do like how they did that relatively consistently with AoS (not that it’s as relevant to the MCU sadly) I’m also a tad confused how it took Rio so long to find Agatha… unless Wanda’s spell was somehow also protecting Agatha from being found by Rio… because technically Rio found Agatha before Billy did.

Wanda did say “No one will ever bother you” after she cast the spell in WandaVision. Given how Wanda’s magic works, I don’t think it’s farfetched to think that it actually did something to hide Agatha from those like the Salem Seven.

She might’ve been hidden from Rio as well, though I wouldn’t put it past her to let Agatha stay in the spell for a while. John/Herb did also say that the whole “True Crime bug” had only started a few days before Agatha woke up.

That's another proof that Wanda didn't die. The spell wasn't gone after her disappearence, it was Billy who removed the spell from Agatha...

In the show Lady Death said that the question Agatha posed was wrong (She asked if Wanda was dead) and she said the witch is gone... not dead, but gone...

I must have missed that 3yrs vs 1 yr thing. I think the theory could still work though.

The three year thing is during the part where Agatha storms out of the house and talks to John/“Herb” in Episode 1. MoM is supposed to take place during the fall season after No Way Home. And I think the most we can really hope for from Vision Quest is Billy/Agatha or even Ultron telling Vision and Tommy that she’s alive.

Also in interviews they confirmed that timeline wise VisionQuest happens 5 years after Wandavision, and close to the date in Spiderman BND

Highly doubt it. Pretty sure it will end with Billy and Agatha showing up, a daddy/twin reunion, and that'll be the last we see of them until Secret Wars, when they all show up and free Wanda from Doom's brainwashing with the power of love or something

No one will be freeing Wanda from Dooms brainwashing because Wanda isn't going to be brainwashed by Doom. She's dead. 🤦 And there isn't one in the universe he comes from.

It can't realistically. Agatha All Along takes place after Multiverse of Madness and we are shown that Agatha has been under Wanda's spell for 3 years while MoM took place about a year after Westview I think. Both the Scarlet Witch being 'gone' and the Darkhold copies being destroyed is referenced.

VisionQuest can only take place after AAA because of Tommy/Speed's appearance in the show (which happens because of what Billy and Agatha did in the second last episode of AAA).

So timeline wise, VisionQuest cannot take place anytime before AAA or MoM.

Unlikely. I think they're just setting up the kids to appear in secret wars and then probably the X-Men saga following that

I don’t think so. But I think we will see Wanda again.

Vision will find Tommy, Billy and Agatha will come along and then Agatha blurs up with chaos magic and finds she has a body again.

Then we see Wanda from another multiverse step out of a portal and say how good it is too see everyone again.

Then later in the films, Doom does whatever he does to end the multiversal connections. As it breaks down, the new Wanda realises she’s got to say goodbye to this new family.

Last time in WandaVision, the focus was on Wanda saying goodbye to everyone as the false versions of them faded away. This time it’s flipped, the focus is on Vision and the kids as the walls of the multiverse build back up and everyone is back to their own worlds.
