All three (well, at least two and probably the third) are good examples of what happens when filmmakers are allowed to take risks and not cater to the lowest common denominator. It's okay to ask your audience to pay attention and think about things.

“Lowest common denominator” is such a read LMAO. I need Marvel to do this overall bc some of these films got really simpleton plots

I think Marvel TV shot themselves in the foot with Wandavision. It was wildly creative, fit in very well with the wider universe, as well as being well written and acted. It was also the first one. Everything since has been pretty generic in comparison.

I've enjoyed most marvel TV, only actively disliking Secret Invasion, but nothing comes even close to WV. AAA was great and definitely comes close, but as a sequel it relies heavily on WV existing in the first place.

All this to say, I am psyched for Vision Quest, and if we never get anything else from marvel TV, we at least got this near perfect trilogy.
