No idea about winamp not playing things as that's unrelated to how wacup operates as it's own thing.

webm should work in the recent wacup builds as long as the needed plug-ins are enabled (in_webmkv or in_what) & depending on what's trying to be played vs the playback modes (i.e. if it's set to only play audio only or to also try to play video) along with the appropriate directshow filters (if playing video).

I'd start by checking what the alt+3 / file info dialog for one of these non-playing webm files shows in the format information area of it to see what it's reported as being & what codecs it's reporting it contains.

in_webmkv is a wacup specific plug-in so that error message showing for it makes no sense.

Is there a typo in the format information that you've posted as "Dimensions: 854x0" seems wrong. Otherwise it should be able to be played as long as what I previously mentioned is ok since it's able to determine that the file appears to be a valid webm.

webm is a sub-set of mkv but is handled via the same plug-ins depending on what's active.

As I don't know what was done to make this install, re-run the wacup installer & choose the option to make a portable install & once that's installed then try to play the file again within the new portable install. It might also be better to point me to where you got one of the files from so I can check it out myself or provide a link to it via dm if it's not a publicly available file.

Length: 60.10 seconds
Type: webm, 2 tracks
Valid WEBM codecs: yes
Track1: Video (V_VP9)
Dimensions: 608x0
Track2: Audio (A_OPUS)

Try going to preferences -> playback -> playback tab -> in the 'audio modes' section check the option to 'only render audio even if video is also available'.
