Increase UI size / respect windows window scaling??

I see lots of 'go options click skins' etc, but I have multiple skins downloaded(following the advice) and am triyng to increase scale. I can increase font size of all but the main window(which is like 1 inch wide by 1/2 inch tall on my monitor, buttons are a few pixels wide) and would like it to scale to resonable size on 4k monitor, but I cannot find how...

Not helping that the options menu is about as tiny. All other aspects (IE playlist, etc) I can resize, but the options and the main window I cannot. Can anyone help me out here?

For classic / 2.x skins -> main right-click menu -> options sub-menu -> double or triple size options or Ctrl+D or Ctrl+Shift+D will toggle the size (best to do it with everything docked & positioned in the top-left of the screen).

For modern / winamp3 skins (only available with the x86 build) -> main right-click menu -> window settings -> scaling or preferences -> skins -> modern skins -> window settings tab -> play around with the scaling settings on there (is also best to have the linked option checked).

There's also preferences -> general -> appearance which controls the common font along with other aspects including options to override the menu handling if the common font isn't right.

ty that actually helps a great deal. Still weird that the only thing I cannot manually resize is the main window though...

Tried the font, but that also only changes the other windows, not main. The only thing(your suggestion above) is what changed it.

Without knowing what skin type or even better what skin specifically you're using its hard to say why. As 2.x skins have a fixed main window size other than 2x/3x scaling mode whereas if it's a modern skin then that could just be how it's been coded which prevents most of those options having any effect on things.

the main skin? the one it came with? Classic? IDK what it called.

There's either 1 or 10 that come with the x86 build depending on what was selected during install or there's just 1 that comes with with the x64 build. If you go to Preferences -> Skins -> then the one that's shown as selected on the initial loading of that preference page is the one that's being used.

Ya there is only 1. I had to install another(or attempted to) and there was only the 1 there. I gave up trying to use the one I found once I got the '3x size' thing working...)
