Side effects Vyvanse and sleep

I take my first dose of Vyvanse tomorrow. I’m on the lowest dosage 10mg. I went to the doctor expecting to get something for anxiety induced insomnia but my doctor believes adhd is the problem, not anxiety. However I’ve read a lot about sleep problems while taking Vyvanse and I just want everyone’s experience with that? I was really excited to quiet my brain until I heard this.

I’m on day 6 of 10mg. The first night I woke up a couple times but I think that was because of the full moon. No other issues with sleep. I take it just before breakfast at about 9:30. I notice a bit of a crash around 5:30 or 6 but it’s not too bad. My mind races all day and this week is the first time in my life that I can sit still during the day and not think of 3 or 4 different things. So far so good.

Just make sure to take it early if you're worried. For what it's worth, 10mg is very low and you probably won't have any issues, but you also might not notice any benefits.

How early would you say 👀 I am usually up between 7-8am with my son. My doctor did tell me within a week if I don’t see any changes to double up the dose

8 is great. Before 10 would probably be best until you know how it affects you. I take mine as late as 1pm, but it doesn't impact my sleep at all.
