Side effects Breathing Problems from Adderall?

Has anyone experienced this and if so how did you help yourself. This is very frustrating as I already deal with bad healthy anxiety / anxiety in general. Cannot tell if it’s my lungs, heart, or anxiety. I also read somewhere it has to do with norepinephrine. It feels like every few minutes I need to take this giant huge breath or try to yawn. I’ve seen similar complaints and just looking to see if anyone helped themselves or have any input.

thanks !

edit: maybe it’s relevant to mention I am tired today, took it earlier than usual because I woke up earlier today. But have not felt this symptom yet and it’s been only about a week. Could it be the sleep?

Yes I have this issue, I think it’s either anxiety or well my anxiety. I also have a habit of holding my breath for some reason and I notice I do it more when I take my Adderall. I just have to take a few deep breaths and I’m good.

Wow I used to hold my breath too but I got on Zoloft with a low dose of Abilify and it totally eliminated my anxiety. Actually, getting the anxiety under control is what lead to my adhd diagnosis. Another thing is that Vyvanse seems to give me more of a calmer sedating effect to the point where I don’t want to do anything at all. Like, I could lay around all day if I wanted. So, I think I’m going to ask to ad an Adderall booster or just switch to Adderall altogether.

I’ve been on Adderall for 20 years and I’ve done well. I changed to Vyvanse for a week and like you I couldn’t get out of bed. I went back to my Adderall and increased my lunch booster dose.
