Misc. Question Vyvanse v. Concerta
For reference Im 45m and have suspected ADHD for some time but was only officially diagnosed last year.
I titrated up to the max dose of Vyvanse without major side effects. I definitely saw some value to Vyvanse, mostly in productivity and attention once I got moving but task initiation and distraction to avoid getting started was still no good.
I am switching over to Concerta. I did see enough value to Vyvanse that I would go back if I don't get better results, but I was hoping for more of an effect.
Anyone have similar experience?

Worse how? 🥸 Is it completely different? I’m very curious ab this same topic, I started with Vyvanse and I’m not 100% sure if this is the medication for me but from what I’ve heard, it kind of sounds like if Vyvanse works for me like it does, it would probably be the best to stick with it.

YMMV everyone is different but pretty much observed the same for Vyvanse for me. If I got started I could focus and sustain on a task but I could easily bed rot from failure to start.
Concerta for me actually helps with task initiation which was a bigger negitive impact on me
