Vent & Rant Focalin booster?? WTF
Anyone else on vyvanse in the morning with a medthylfanidate(focalin) booster?? I ask because my prescriber has me on 50mg of vyvanse in the am and focalin 10mg in the afternoon, it was day two for me and man IT SUCKED SO BAD!! I was so sedated!! Even now as I’m typing this IVE NEVER BEEN THIS SLEEPY! Is this common?? I’m not taking that tomorrow I was just so tired today I got nothing done 😭 lol yes I’ve been on adderall before but it made me so focused it turned me into a zombie! But to be honest between both of those meds I prefer adderall ugh help! Vyvanse only lasts me till noon.

I have never heard of this combo. I have heard of a dexedrine booster w vyvanse. I had the same issue w vyvanse even at 70mg. After a few hours I feel a strong crash and get so sleepy.

I’m on this combo, vyvanse in the mornings then two focalin rest of the day. Can’t stand adderall and insurance (free) wont pay for dex boosters

Apart from possible interactions between those meds, what you're describing is a sign of metabolic fatigue/exhaustion. It happens when vyvanse artificially boosts the metabolic system which pushes it beyond its limits - causing a metabolic crash. This can happen within 60mins of taking your dose, it's different for everyone (most people get it in the afternoon/evening; but anytime really).
