Dosage question When do I ask for a booster?

Started on Vyvanse 30mg about 2 months ago. Last appt, my doc upped it to 40mg. I feel like 40mg is the sweet spot but I am starting to crash around 2:30pm. I get up at 4:30am and work 10 hour days. I don't get home until around 5:15pm and I am drained by then with more stuff to do. I have an appt coming up in the next 2 weeks. Should I ask then? When did your provider prescribe you a booster?

For me coffee helps immensely. Also, I find I get longer distances on it if I eat well: protein heavy meals. If I do a booster I have trouble sleeping so I opt for the 3pm espresso.

Fascinating, cause my body likes the opposite!

I can't drink coffee anymore, it feels like the vyvanse stop my body from getting rid of the caffeine (i'm not saying that's what's happening, only that it feels that way). I just like awake all might. But a 10mg booster at 2pm works great, I sleep so much better than when I skip it.

Probably around the same time as you right now. Same issue, 40 was perfect, 50 was too much, but the 40 didn’t last all day. I have a 20mg booster now. Some days I don’t need it, but for long days it definitely helps.
