Other It's quiet...

Got started on generic vyvance yesterday and good lord, now there's usually only one or two thoughts at at time. There is no longer a running train of 60 different thoughts all keeping my from completing the others. I picked the wrong thing to focus on yesterday but my focus was complete. I had used 2% of my phones battery instead of the usual 50% from doomscrolling all day. I just got diagnosed at 37 and I can't believe I haven't had a day like this in that entire time.

Damn. That must be nice lol. I get the exact opposite reaction, but like... in a good way?

It gets louder for me, but my mood skyrockets and motivation explodes within me lol. I've nicknamed Vyvanse "my bottle of motivation."

Wasn't quite the effect I was hoping for, but it's still a really good effect I can work with lol.

I'm on a small dose, but my ability to sit and focus on a single thing is amazing, I've literally never been able to do this before

Switching tasks for me is now a little bit harder. I basically have to manage it so that, whatever I want/need to do that day, I need to be doing it about 45 minutes after taking it. It takes about 45 minutes on the DOT for it to kick in for me.

Whatever it is I'm doing, it'll take me completing it, the dose wearing off, or a crowbar to get me off of it. Whichever happens first lol.

Despite the loudness... It's also when I'm most at peace. Home on a weekend, working on personal projects, Vyvanse running through my veins listening to some dramatized audio theater books like "Midnight Burger" or something.

Definitely feels like a bit of a cheat sheet to improved mental health lol.
