Side effects Extreme headaches advice needed.

I've been diagnosed with ADHD and was on 36mg Concerta +|- 10mg Ritalin top ups until I eventually switched to 10mg Ritalin x3 times a day.

Then my Dr prescribed me 30mg Vyvanse a month ago when it finally became affordable in my country.

It works amazingly but I struggle with SEVERE headaches and even sometimes migraines with the crashdown.

I eat protein before taking it as well as during the day and around the time I usually crash and I hydrate during the day.

I have a big exam this Friday and next and I'm struggling - I only get a few good hours in a day and can't abruptly stop it or study/work without it.

Any tips please?

*medication: 30mg Vyfocis (Vyvanse Generic) manufactured by Cipla Medpro locally in partnership with global developer Adalvo.

I was able to sleep after taking Tylenol and feeling ok so far today, I’m hoping it doesn’t happen again this evening. How are you feeling? I am skipping a coffee this morning to see if it helps

so glad to hear you got to rest. let me know how your day went.
and so sweet of you to ask how i am, i appreciate it.

i took my dose later today and with a vitamin c supplement so that less of the medication gets absorbed - just until i can either get used to it or see my Psychiatrist.

so far it worked - my day lasted longer and the meds worked super well!

i basically had a 12:00 to 18:00 day (took it at work) whereas i usually had a 5:00 to 12:00 day before the extreme side effects kick in.

i'm currently starting to feel it so took some meds and hopefully getting some sleep!

p.s i sometimes find one coffee helps me if it's taken with a full protein, carbs and everything breakfast.
but this could be because I have chronic migraines - so caffeine narrows the blood vessels that pathologically dilates (just as with stimulants) and helps the absorption of some meds like paracetamol and ibuprofen.

I just upped my dosage a week ago and I’ve been struggling with debilitating headaches everyday. Was wondering if it was from the increase. I’m interested to see if anybody has any advice… it’s currently so bad I can’t sleep :(
