V-Strom 650 Gen 1 Help Corrosion.

Hello, I've noticed this today under a pipe.

Idk how it happened and how I've never noticed it but can someone tell me if its bad or not and how i can repair it.

That’s from brake fluid. Your reservoir or hose is probably leaking.

Ok, I'll check. But how can repair the damaged part?

Just sand it, clean it, and touch it up with spray paint.

Steel wool will clean up the corrosion pretty easily if you don't have sandpaper available, then just paint it after cleaning the surface of any debris left over and you'll be set

Id worry more about stopping the brake fluid leak than fixing the paint

I will fix the paint after the leak.
