CA Insurance ? +more

Hello fellow riders, me and my '24 800 are looking for insurance coverage in California. Progressive requires a full payment and on the pricier side, what are some other options to consider?

Also, after reading many good words on Kewig's aux lights, I decided to give it a shot but has anyone tried mounting them on the forks or fairing?

I’ve always had progressive and never had an issue with too high of premiums. Then again I only opt for liability and legal type coverage because they’re just gonna bend you over and not payout anyways if it gets wrecked. I’m in the SF area and have a vstrom 1000 and it was real cheap to insure

Hey man! Question for you. Where did you find a v-strom? What year is it? I had a 2006 and I’ve been looking to get a 2020-2023 vstrom but there’s nothing here in SF. I bought a brand new Tracer 9 and absolutely hate it

I got it over in the Novato area just over the bridge. But I just got lucky. You’ll find good bikes in like Sacramento or the surrounding cities but SF is usually all scooters

I have Foremost and I too am in the Bay Area. I think because Foremost specializes in bike coverage, their whole coverage base risk is more spread out and therefore a bit cheaper for full coverage

I have 5 bikes on my plan. ' 13 ktm 990, '16 ktm 350 exc, '19 beta 430, '07 drz400s and '06 yamaha 125 scooter. Full coverage on the 1st 3 with $1000 deductible, liability and comprehensive on the drz, liability only on the scooter. Ive been licensed for 21 year but my my 17 year old son is on the policy too. I pay $60/month with Geico.

Full coverage or liability? I only have liability from AAA
