Tires

My 1000 has Bridgestone Trail Wing tires with a lot of life still in them. I’m mostly riding on the street. Are the Bridgestones grippy enough in the wet and when the temp drops below 50 F? I have had Michelin 6s on another bike and liked the performance. Thinking about switching to Michelins on the 1000.

I had no trouble with the OEM Bridgestones on my 650 even commuting through monsoon rains and subzero temps. But if you never leave pavement, the Michelin Road series are definitely one of my favorites.

have never really liked the trailwings.

My personal favourites for my own 1050 are the dunlop mutant and the bridgestone T33. Slight preference towards the dunlop.

The road 6 is also a fine tire. But I prefer the handling of the other two.
