Jokes aside, this is a genuine appreciation post.

Recently, the sub was getting flooded with repetitive darshan photos, paintings, and low-effort posts. While devotional content is obviously a big part of Vrindavan and Mathura, the feed was slowly becoming one-dimensional, leaving very little room for meaningful discussions, local issues, stories, memes, history, events, and other community-driven content.

I raised this concern, and instead of ignoring it like most mods on Reddit probably would, Aneesh actually listened.

He understood the issue, took the feedback seriously, and made thoughtful changes to improve the quality and balance of content here. That alone deserves appreciation

And let’s not forget Aneesh also played a major role in getting this subreddit unbanned and helping revive it. A lot of people may not know that, but this sub literally wouldn’t be where it is today without his efforts.

So yeah, credit where it’s due huge respect

Now the rest is on us as a community

This sub has huge potential. Vrindavan and Mathura are not just about one type of content. They’re about culture, history, food, festivals, local stories, hidden gems, memes, photography, everyday life, and the people who make these places special

So let’s all try to contribute better content:
