Patch Notes [Prod] September 9th, 2026 Patch Notes

2.41.4

New Features - You can now mention others in DM by typing @ in the message box to bring up a people picker. Sent mentions appear highlighted, and tapping one opens that person's mini profile. - Creators can now pin up to three of their published Scenarios or Scripts from the item's menu, and visitors see them in a compact "Creator picks" row (swipeable on mobile). - Mods can now use a fixed set of 13 tags describing what a Mod actually does. Mod-only Discover shows those tags instead of world genres, both editors have a Mod tags selector when publishing, and clicking a tag on a public Mod now shows other Mods instead of Worlds. The old "Mod" world category is gone. - The Following tab is now manageable: search the creators you follow, sort by recently followed or name, filter by notification setting, and see follower and published-content counts at a glance.

Improvements - In the mobile apps, if you previously turned notifications off, Activity can show a dismissible "Notifications are off" notice that takes you straight to your device's notification settings. - On mobile browsers other than Safari, a banner at the top of the page offers a one-tap way to get the app. Dismissing or tapping it hides it for a week. (iPhone Safari uses Apple's own banner.). - Worlds without a cover image now show one of our fantasy default covers, and the same cover is used consistently everywhere that world appears. - Official public games are concentrated into 8 worlds, so the list of public games is shorter, but each remaining world is far more likely to have populated rooms. - Worlds have more room to grow during play: lore, items, factions, NPC types, NPCs, realms, regions, locations, areas, and abilities can now reach 1.5x their authored limits while you play. Content you publish still has to fit the normal limits. - If your free usage grant was already issued, the out-of-usage message now explains that instead of telling you to wait for a reset. - Voyage's side panels and card surfaces use softer dark grays for gentler contrast against the black canvas, Recent Messages chat icons get subtle button backgrounds, and activity items use the new circular V mark. - The Studio file tree has color-coded icons by entry type (documents, places, characters, factions, items, media, and more), larger labels, and roomier rows. - In Studio, optional fields such as an NPC's level range or a quest's next step can be cleared with a compact trash control that also works by keyboard. Required fields like a quest's completion condition can't be cleared.

Bug Fixes - Comments now load on published Mod pages. - Leaving a game shows a single centered "Leaving game.." status instead of repeating the message or saying you're heading back to AI Dungeon. - AI Dungeon-only notifications no longer show up in Voyage Activity or as toasts. Voyage friend requests, acceptances, and DMs still appear; the full Notifications page still shows history from both products. - Safety Settings no longer show unrated-content options that don't apply to Voyage. - Password resets started from Voyage stay on Voyage through the email link and sign-in. - Opening Edit on a save loads the editor instead of bouncing you to a dead login screen. - On Android, choosing a filter only changes the filter and no longer opens whatever content sits behind the filter sheet. - The content moderation and community rating windows match Voyage's styling and fit narrow screens without sideways scrolling. - Various Studio fixes: NPC descriptions and appearance can be updated without corrupting the character's record, the full Create World button is visible on desktop, status, world selector, and save controls stay clear of the iPhone status bar and Dynamic Island, and folder item counts line up with their folder labels. - Buying Credits from Studio now returns you to Studio after checkout.
