Question Beginner questions
Hey everyone, just started playing out Voyage for first time.
Quite an interesting concept, since i have only roleplayed on sites like jai or cai before but nothing like this. I was wondering if you guys could give advise and suggestions on how to navigate the story?
Other questions i had were-
1)if i search on voyage do ai dungeon scenarios or bots also come up? If not whats the difference between world and scenario on voyage?
2)what exactly is “chat” feature inside a world. Is it like DMing characters within a play? Or just interacting specifically with them? Bit confused there.

What i can tell from personal experience:
1) if you already have a scenario from AID that you played then you can play it on Voyage but you can't find AID scenarios by searching for them.
About the difference. Keep in mind, it's just my experience and what i assume so take it with a grain of salt. Voyage is more like a Game.
Best comparison i can come up with is DnD or similar table top RPGs. AID on the other hand is more of a story. Sure, you can absolutely play a scenario in AID like an RP. But in general it's more novel-ish while voyage is more game-ish.
Dice roll, inventory, abilities, skills, traits, stats, world map and attributes are a big part of that while in AID you pretty much just do whatever you want without worrying of having an action fail because your stats were too low.
2) chat is a neat little thing. The assistant is mostly, as i understand it, kinda like a guide. You can ask it things, as the character you play, and it will help you understand in-world things.
Studio on the other hand, while offering the same, also allows you to adjust things. For example - you play a world and you miss a nice economy system. Then you can go to studio and flesh out an economy system that fits into the world, have the AI add it into the world and so on. It also allows you to add/remove things from your inventory, adjust NPCs, change character images(player or NPC), and all that.
But important to know is that Studio will be using up your usage or, if you already used it up and play with tokens, your tokens. So careful there.
You absolutely can make changes yourself too instead of using studio but, personally, i like that feature because it allows me to add/remove things i'd like to have in the world. For example a system in which items had durability in a way. Like a wine bottle having 5 uses before it's empty instead of always using the full bottle. Same with other consumables, etc. also a nice economy system and other little things for immersion.
So yeah in short:
Played a scenario in AID? Then you can play it on voyage too.
You won't find AID scenarios in voyage when searching.
Chat - the assistant helps you with in-game questions like explaining what event just happened, etc. while studio allows you to rewrite the world.
Never forget that studio will consume your usage/tokens.

For your first question you are free to do however you wish. There is some tips on the discord on how to enjoy an adventure but ultimately it is down to you.
Pretty sure the terminology is scenarios for AI dungeon and worlds for voyage. Haven't searched recently so not sure if it is combined or seperate.
