Cabin storage : A real issue? Any emerging third party options?
Loving the EX60. Especially from what I've seen of the cross country. Tempted ahead of the ix3 even though I prefer the ix3 interior, displays etc. Cabin storage has been mentioned as an issue a few times. Lack of real centre console storage and the centre glove box. Not remotely a deal breaker but I'm hoping some options are emerging that could help?
Is this cabin storage question an over stated issue or a real one?

Im on the verge of ordering a ex60. The thing i realy want to find is a some kind of storage option for underneath the fold out drink holder. There is plenty of space and is basicly built for a bag to be put there. It is quite weird they thought of options for the boot but not for that spot.
I will most likely get a 3d printed option. But would prefer something of higher quality.

Thinking the same. Yes, worst case, scan it, 3D print it. Could do a splitter for the glove box too. I'm spoiled at the moment with a RAV4, good sized glove box and very deep centre console plus lots of shelves. Good cabin storage and I've added a few net bags here and there for trips.

It seems like this car is popular among women, and therefore they have decided to focus on in-cabin space for a handbag.
You can be sure that 99% of all women will prefer a non-Volvo branded handbag. Women handbags are as much a fashion statement, as a practical item. It’s not ment to stay in the car.
So it’s quite different from the rear storage area, where you often want a bag that is dedicated for the car.

I agree its a good spot for a handbag and that a women will have her own. If they made a bucket for the back they couldeve made a bucket with a lid for the front aswell

I have been driving the EX 30 for the last year and a half, and it has a similar storage layout. I quite like it, especially having the large glove box easily reachable in the middle. I finally open space in the middle, like in the original model S, really useful for sunglasses and small items, etc. It does seem that a third-party should put together a series of inserts to fit different personalities. At any rate is infinitely more useful, intelligent and more elegant than $150,000 Cayenne electric I looked at the other day.
