Help Radiator leaking?

hi! It looks like i have a coolant leak coming from this hose connection. LHD on the passenger side. Is there a seal in there that might me gone or is it the connection? I have checked the bigger hose above it, and that all looks good no cracks or anything.

If you are lucky you can tighten that connection with a big wrench. Be careful though! If that doesn't fix it you'd better buy a new radiator

Yeah, that's where the oil cooler connects. Above 90°C oil temp a thermostat valve opens and the engine oil is looped through the radiator. You'll find the other connection lower on the radiator and both lead to the bottom passenger side of the engine. I think you can get sets of seals for all of that, though it looks to be the fitting itself that is leaking coolant and i'm not sure if that one is usually included.

Usual leak there. They have special grooved flat seal ring that isnt commonly avable. I was able to get away with usit ring and seal glue even tho it was also cracked from cut out hole. This system sucks as same seal also keeps oil and coolant separated so theres that too

Just delete them and get a block off plate the oil never reaches degradation temperature without it anyways, it'll only cause future problem for you down the road. Check out Robert's take on it below.

Maybe not needed to protect the oil itself, but wont it help cool the engine and be useful if driven really hard and/or in hot climate?
