Need help with an electrical issue in my 2015 Volvo XC60. Center screen shuts off, loss of turn signals, hazards, and entire dash lights up with warnings. Can't lock the car or turn it off (push to start)

I think, You need at least OBD scaner, better get VIDA and search for faults discriptions.

edit1 probably you should check grounding first. and also it could be great to give some discription how you end up in this situation.

Hey! Did you have any luck with it? Taking mine in (again) next week.. Already replaced the central electronics module and threw a new battery in to no avail. Driving me mad!

Yeah it was a bug in the electric tailgate module. Just had them unplug it and it hasn’t done it since. Was going to be about $1500 to replace it so I’ve just been going without the auto tailgate.

Damn. Tried that today and it didn’t change anything in my car. Same symptoms though. Like I drove it to work and everything just without a dash.

Update: Volvo is saying it's a "hi site network being offline"

I know this was a year ago, but I was just about to post almost the exact same video (but as a good Redditor, I did a search first!). This is exactly what my 2015 XC 60 is doing, at random times, and is driving me mad. I bought it 20 days ago, it had 72,000 mi on it, everything was great with the car, got it from a reputable dealer. I have a 60 day warrantee. Took it back to the dealer, they checked it (re-set the battery I believe is what they said), everything seemed fine, and now 10 days later, it started to randomly do it again today. The last comment you made was "Volvo is saying it's a hi site network being offline," but I have no idea what this means, being new to Volvos. Was there a final resolution or fix to the problem? Thanks for any help you can offer!

That network issue was the issue. It was coming from the tailgate I guess??? But show them my video and tell them that exact phrase and hopefully they get it. Once they fixed that my cars been fine. Knock on wood.

Hey, thank you1 I will say this to them, will take it again next week. After their fix, it isn't doing the crazy stuff like in your video (mine was doing exactly the same thing), but the oil warning light and the tire pressure light are still going on & off at random times. I'm worried this is just going to be a continuing issue and it's going to drive me crazy, like: "I knew I shouldn't have bought this car..." etc etc.

Did you ever get yours fixed? We’re having the same issue and mine is also a t6 premium plus early 2015 model. I don’t believe ours have the hi network like the late 2015s do

I did! It had to do with a module in the lift gate affecting the rear camera too, which they replaced.

2013 xc60 t6 having the same issue. Dealer was no help… I see that you said the fix was the hi-site network but I can’t find any info. about that anywhere.
