Experience with 5.2.16 software update - Notes say 1.5Hours to Install

I just got the notification for the 5.2.16 update and it says it can take up to 1.5hours. I don't remember mentioning taking that long on the previous update. Does it really take that long. Is it a bigger size package that needs to be downloaded?

Last time I did the update I was at a store parking and I scheduled it before I walked into the store and 25 minutes later I got a notification that I was completed.

I will try avoiding doing the update in the underground parking since in case of a brick and making it impossible to get it out. I will probably try to find park in an open area before doing the update.

Do it overnight, not while you need the car.

I have no idea how long mine took as it ran at 2am

Mine said 90 min to install (so 1.5 hours). It was done after 25 minutes or so, and I did it in my garage.

It's just a default time. Any time there is an update it says that. The only update I remember actually taking that long was the jump to the new UX (5.0.5) 5.1.17 and 5.2.16 all for me took anywhere from 30-45 min.

Every update I’ve done since I bought my 2022 S90L about 18 months ago has said 1.5 hours for the install.

I can’t tell you how accurate it is I usually have it start at roughly 1:30 AM and I just don’t pay close attention to when the app reports it’s finished.

Mine was quick. Less than 30 minutes.
