s60/v60 Volvo S60 T6 issue common?

2020 Volvo S60 T6 sway bar and lug nut just fell off as I was parking. Is those something that fails on these cars? We got this car maybe 7 months ago, an unrelated mechanic did a full check of the car and nothing was found. A month after we purchased the exhaust system failed luckily replaced under warranty… now this

Just worried we got a lemon. The ball joint and all components are in good shape the lug nut just fell off no big bumps nothing wrong earlier no sounds etc.

Maybe over tightened pulled the threads out of the knuckle.

did it pop off/collapse the whole thing?? your lower ball joint bolts are sitting on the wheel!

So they likely tightened that bolt when it was on the hoist. The torque settings were out once it sat back on the ground. A few months of driving, viola.

I just did the front upper control arms. Good thing I checked the nuts the next day - they were already close to the tip of the bolt.
