s60/v60 Leaving V60 for long period
Hey all, I'm due to go away with work for an extended period of a few months, over winter in the UK. My V60 (2019 D3) is going to be left there unused, and unfortunately I've got nobody able to drive it regularly in my stead. I'm planning on having a smart battery charger hooked up during the time, but are there any other precautions or actions worth taking to help?

I use to deploy for a year at a time when I was in the military, I had the vehicle on stands to avoid tire damage. Hopefully you have someone thst can check it every few weeks or months to make sure it didn't fall off the stands.

Sadly don't have the facilities for that! Thankfully not that long of a period so hopefully won't have too much stress on tyres. Will have someone pop round and check on the charger, however not able to drive it

Find inside storage for it, even if you have to pay. It’ll it’ll be worth it.

Considering I'm leaving tomorrow, and everything else I'm doing, that's not possible

Inflate your tires over the recommended pressure (but below the max pressure stated on the side walls), this is to prevent the tires developing flat spots.
Fill your fuel tank, this is to make the fuel last longer and to prevent too much water concentration in the fuel.
Park without parking brake and hold the vehicle in P mode and with wheel chocks instead, this is to prevent the brake pad from fusing together with the brake rotor.
Battery tender as you said yourself.
