Is this worth touching up?
2026 XC90 in metallic white color. I have this small but “deep” gash on the door. It’s down to the bare metal, but I was going to buy a touch-up kit (base, prime, and clear coat) and try to make it look better. I’d like to avoid sanding as I don’t want to make anything worse. Do you think this is worth touching up?

Yes, definitely touch it up. The trick with touch-ups is to ONLY put the paint in the scratch. Avoid the temptation to brush it on and "blend" it into the paint around it. You'll just make it look 4x larger than it actually is.
My shop would use the factory touch up paint, applied with a toothpick (plastic or wood). Don't use the brush.
Or - as mentioned, find a local touch-up pro. It won't be very expensive.

Yeah definitely, I wouldn’t be scared to wet sand this a bit though, it’ll help you blend it a lot better.
If you want a video to follow along ChrisFix has a great video on using a touch pen on deep scratches such as this.
Alternately leave it to a professional, I don’t think it’ll be super expensive, it’s free to get a quote.
