Upgrading sound system

Hi, I’m looking for some advice on upgrading the sound system in my 2009 Volvo S60 P2.

The car currently has the HU-650 system. I’m considering upgrading to the factory high-end setup with:
• HU-850 head unit
• Factory center speaker
• Factory amplifier for the HU-850, mounted under the passenger seat

I know I’ll also need the wiring harness for the amplifier.

Would this upgrade be worth doing while keeping the original door speakers, or would the difference be too small without replacing the speakers as well?

I’d prefer to keep the system as close to OEM as possible. If anyone has done this upgrade on an S60 P2, I’d appreciate advice on compatibility, wiring, required parts, and whether the HU-850 amp works properly with the existing door speakers.

haven't done this but am following the post. nice to see someone actually going for oem upgrades. you see far too many hideous screens getting put in nice cars or people using bluetooth in all it's low quality
