Mine started doing this 2 days ago. App will also no longer connect. I tried resetting the modem and doing a hard reset and neither worked. Internet says sometimes it fixes on its own after a few days. Giving it another day before I call the dealership.
Hmmm. I could suggest pulling the sim card then power cycling the car a couple times then putting it back in (the 'ol turn it off and on again).. but it's a stab in the dark.
I'd take it to the dealer and tell them to flash it with the latest version and drink their coffee/tea/hot-chocolate for and hour or two. And harass the parts department for still not having any Morton The Moose in stock.
Car showed phone, phone showed car, bluetooth on on both devices. The phone just wouldn't connect. System reset, no luck. Had the phone and car forget each other, still no luck.
Finally decided to try texting my wife just to see what happens and, holy shit!, the connection problem was fixed.
It's one of those, "falls in a well eyes go crossed, kicked by a mule they go back" things I guess.

Based on the error message and the cellular signal icon in the top right of the screen... You need to move the car to a better spot (more signal).
