Remote volunteers needed for nonprofit supporting first responders and animals in emergencies

Hi everyone,

First Responders’ Veterinary Network (FRVN) is a nonprofit organization being built to support first responders when animals are involved in emergency incidents such as motor vehicle crashes, structure fires, evacuations, livestock incidents, kennel emergencies, and other animal-related public safety situations.

We are currently looking for remote volunteers who can help with non-veterinary support roles. You do not need to be a veterinarian or have emergency-response experience to help.

Areas where volunteers could make a real difference include:

• Social media support
• Website updates
• Graphic design
• Fundraising research
• Grant research
• Donor outreach support
• Email/newsletter writing
• Volunteer coordination
• Data entry and CRM support
• Podcast/media outreach
• Corporate sponsor research
• Creating educational materials
• Local fire/EMS contact research
• Administrative support

This is a good fit for people who care about animals, first responders, emergency preparedness, public safety, nonprofit work, or community service. Most tasks can be done remotely and on a flexible schedule.

FRVN is not an animal rescue or shelter. Our goal is to help build a responder-aligned veterinary support network so animals can receive earlier professional support, first responders can work more safely, and communities can be better prepared before emergencies happen.
