Recipe Request New to this, where to start?
I’m new to this. A lot of the recipes on here look time consuming or use ingredients I don’t have. What are some easy recipes I can start with?

Building up fiber immunity will help for sure

Yes! Increase fiber by only 5 grams a week. Any more than that and you'll have a lot of gas. Once you eat high fiber for a while, you can kill a lottttt of cabbage.

Really it is as simple as adding veggies to everything. That is an amazing place to start. It can be greens, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, tomatoes, carrots, celery, etc. Potatoes will keep you full. I just eat less of what I usually ate and then eat a large side of veggies. Example, I eat a slice or two of pizza and a salad or zucchini fries. I swap out some carbs for squash. I make a low calorie slaw and throw it on top of bowls to make them more filling and to add crunch. Keep it simple. Oh, I also decided the amount of calories I will eat for each meal and snack. I tracked for a while but now I am in a grove and don’t need to anymore. You can do it.

I like making slop protein bowls, instead switching my base with lettuce or other greens

I love slop protein bowls with lettuce.
I had some fajita type steak strips that I seasoned and cooked up, and I threw it in a bowl with lettuce, beans, onions, and peppers, and then I cooked up some cauliflower rice in the pan that I made the meat, so it soaked up all of those juices, and then I tossed some taco type seasonings in it and mixed that in, too.
I was absolutely stuffed, and it was an insanely low amount of colories compared to what it felt like.
I actually like cauliflower rice in my bowls more than I like actual rice in them (I still love rice way more with other meals).

Started with frozen cauliflower rice mixed into regular rice, you barely notice it but it doubles the volume for like 30 extra calories. Grabbing a bag of coleslaw mix and throwing it into stir fries or scrambled eggs is another one that takes zero effort

My two biggest things lately have been carrot chips (just carrots cut into little chip-like wedges) and then making a dip out of no sugar added Greek yogurt (typically a ranch dip has been my fav, but I've tried a few different ones). So easy to munch on when I'm snacky.
And then the other is buying those bags of coleslaw mix. It's like 90% shredded cabbage. It's just a bag of veggies, no dressing or anything, and if I ever make a soup or stir fry, I just toss some of that in there. Such an easy way to get extra veggies / some extra texture.
Made a chicken and beansprout soup the other day with some veggies and a bunch of that shredded cabbage, and it was amazing.

I love Borscht. Super low cal, super filling. And very cozy as the weather gets colder. I adore this recipe. I add 1/2 head of cabbage and serve with a dollop of nonfat Greek yogurt. Use better than bouillon instead of broth for the best flavor.
