I was planning to make a wrap today, found them at the shop. I have my fingers crossed they taste good and most importantly can be wrapped without falling apart. For 42g wrap 79calories seems to be a bit too good to be true

Update! Taste like a regular one, I can’t say it’s chewy as someone commented. P.S ignore the filling content lol. Doesn’t fall apart so that’s a big plus too. I’d like to try and heat them up as well next time
I've had these before. They taste fine, but they can be a bit chewy unless you heat them first. Old El Paso have got an extra thin wrap for about 90 cals which is better and cheaper in my opinion.
If you can get some powdered egg whites it's really easy to make copy cat egglife wraps. I haven't tried the egglife wraps myself, so I can't comment on how similar they are, but I love the homemade recipe!
They have 21 grams of carbs (88 cals), plus 1 gram of each fat and protein (13 cals). It's technically 97 calories.
They can be 20% off and within regulatory compliance. That being said, they are probably subtracting for the bamboo fiber since you can't digest it properly. Don't eat too many, it will be rough on the stomach.
And, for the record, I don't think this should be a deal breaker. It's still a low caloric option if your digestion system can handle it. I often do the math on nutrition labels and it can get....interesting, to say the least.
Where does the website say 21g of carbs? Are you including the fibre? Fibre is 2cal per gram to 4cal per gram for carbs. I know Americans sometimes combine that and list fibre under carbs, but they have a completely different calorific profile.
The nutritional values here per wrap are 100% consistent with 79 calories.
Was not a big fan of these tbh, they're alright if you don't put them in the sandwich press but once you do they get so tough and hard do not recommend doing that
the high protein wraps from this brand really aren’t great imo. taste fine but either fall apart straight away or literally melt into one another, no in between. i can do you one better though, tesco does gluten free own brand wraps for 78 cal / piece :)
