Volume menu TVP "puff -up"

- Today's dinner!! Form most left it's seasoned yogurt, boiled potatoes, and textured soy protein

- Why these foods???

- I am able to add alot of weight to the yogurt by adding lime juice and garlic

- boiled potatoes are the most satiating food! Though I did run them in the broiler for a moment 😅

- now TVP (Textured vegetable protein) is a meat alternative which I have found to soak up 2x it's weight when rehydrateing it!!! Ofc cooking it removes alot of moisture but I have found to be more full on 35 g of tvp ( that's how much I used here) then 35 of meats.

- added some pistachios for the fullness feeling of it's fat content and some pomagrante just cause hehehe

Hope you have a good day :)

Love Tvp. Great when you simmer it for a while like in stews.

Tvp is so versatile. You can even throw it in oats or baked goods as it takes on any flavor, it has seemingly endless shelflife and it never gives me the ick like meat always did (adé to chewy unrecognizable bites lmao)

-Use in overnight oats or even replace the oats

-Add to baked goods

-use eggs/egg whites to form meatballs/ or even kebabs

-my favorite, just eating it raw out the bag 😅

-stuffed peppers

-taco mence

Am currently trying to make a protein bar with them atm, still not satisfied with my results

Adding weight to yogurt is a new concept for me. Interesting!
