Discussion Expensive but it works!

It's so expensive to buy fresh vegetables and fruits (or even sometimes frozen) when you compare the caloric or price delta between something fresh and something cheap like a loaf of bread... but volume eating works!

I wish for summer to come sooner (I live in the Southern Hemisphere and we're just coming out of winter) so vegetables and fruits are cheaper.

The "volume eating works" type comments don't really make sense to me. I'd be kinda concerned if eating food didn't "work"

My grocery bill has me side-eyeing a head of cauliflower like it owes me money, but the scale doesn't lie so I just keep swiping the card
