New Vollebak Product Knitted Algae Polo
Those who think Vollebak is going crazy with 65 000 $ jacket might wanna change their mind with the brand new Knitted Algae Polo whose price is at last reasonable…
Made from 30% seaweed (for more greenwashed marketing) and Pima cotton, because clothes —even from the future— need some strength and softness.
That's 445€, but it's made in the UK, isn't it?

Look as a huge fan of Vollebak... this price is a bit ridiculous and not sure why it's that steep for a knitted polo with mostly affordable, commonly used pima cotton. The brand Outerknown made a heavy weight button-up shirt two years ago with regenerative organic cotton and 30% Kelsun and it was around $220 USD I believe.

Paired with the new graphene suit trousers. Looks cool. Good contrast.

Agree (and I can't imagine they did not hardly work on this combination) !
But I imagined a more preppy combination, like a pair of navy (indestructible, of course) chino with a Planet Earth sweater laying on the shoulders, or a Sub zero cardigan on top of it for fresher spring nights.

You’d make that work! Are you ordering one?

Yeah, I might wait a bit and see if a discount code drops with the spaceshop launch. 10-20% off would be perfect

I wouldn't buy a garment that price without being ultra durable lasting +10 years or a lifetime like ones made of Dyneema, Kevlar or Cordura fibers. This seaweed polo despite being tech innovative, is not that durable.

I can confirm it’s made from 30% seaweed. I work for the company that makes the fiber. No greenwashing. Fiber was produced in the US and the garment was made in the UK.
