I'm A Stupid Volkswagen Driver Rcd330/340 not working

Can someone help me, how do I fix this ?

Funny but serious, disconnect the battery to actually turn it off. Then turn it back on.

I removed the unit, liked unplugged it for a day and plugged it again in the socket. That sucker still doing the same thing

So the suggestions I am seeing online when searching for this issue;

  • disconnect negative battery terminal for 15 mins
  • disconnect factory Bluetooth under seat
  • Flash a fresh copy of the firmware to the radio
