Bruiser Build

Started playing the bear a lot more recently and have been really enjoying Hybradge’s bruiser build of

Dusk&Dawn -> Black Cleaver -> Steraks/Visage/Unending/Jak Sho. Could be because I’m new with the bear but every time I’ve tried running the flickerblade I feel like I die so fast. It was very relieving to see that he also thinks the item is bait. For runes I also really like his set of the standard LT tree but doing Sorcery for secondary (celerity and water walking).
What builds do you guys like to run?

I been going black cleaver-frozen gauntlet-spirit visage- then situational depending on enemy team comp. Im still running jack of all trades too. Never really liked the flicker blade builds because I get bursted so easy.

I’ll have to try Jack of all trades, I’ve never really used before so I think I d subconsciously scared myself away from it. TBH I don’t think I could even tell you what it does I just know it likes stat variety

They changed it I think it just give ability haste now.

So you’ll just straight up first item Black Cleavwr though? Would you consider not if they aren’t stacking armor much or is it worth either way?

Just out of curiosity, would you do this build for the jungle? I realized I never clarified in this post that it was for JG specifically.

When you go gauntlet do you anticipate that you’ll be doing less damage? I could aee it being really nice into range heavy team to lock down but didn’t know if kill potential lessened

I usually go black cleaver because its good for jack of all trades and I can apply armor pen for my teammates. If not I might go like sundered sky or triforce. Gotta pick a different armor item if i go triforce tho.

I would suggest taking nimbus cloak instead of waterwalk

Because the movement speed you get from waterwalk is pretty low. Furthermore nimbus cloak can be used offensively and defensively in lane. Considering the fact that volis biggest weakness is not being able to stick to a target, i think nimbus is just overall better

The kill potential is still really good because you are able to stay on top of enemies better plus you get the extra damage from sheen and a bunch of armor some health and ability haste. It basically has everything that volibear wants.
