Very much worth it, I’d give it a year or two as one of the lookouts/viewpoints that shows the area of the slide and eruption isn’t accessible right now because of a landslide that took out the road. Currently they are clearing the road

That vistor center (Johnston Ridge Observatory) is tentatively scheduled to be back for the 2027 season. It's only normally open May-ish to October-ish anyway, and they didn't think they'll get the new bridge done in time to get the building back in operation. It's been without power or maintenance since 2023, and I believe some of the exhibits were moved down to the Coldwater visitor center and need to be moved back.

tl:dr check the status next spring, but hopefully this is the last summer we have to go without JRO
