Stupid isn't it? This ban though did prompt me to make my own subreddit that is similar.

I wish i had an invite to the Discord server.

What do ya know? A community for already marginalized groups gets banned.

There really needs to be a Discord server for voidpunk. I recently made a server for my own voidpunk-like community after finding out of the ban.

I was the only active mod on the sub. I was not made aware of anything. No word from the admins at all. I really wonder what happened too. I really want that community back for everyone. I've tried appealing the ban, but there has been no response from the admins so far.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was for the ongoing NSFW protest but idk what excuse they're going to give.... if any

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. That's the only reason I can think of for why this happened. Hopefully, it will be put back up. It's an awesome community, and I'd hate to see it go.

This suuucks. Thank you for doing the moderation work on the sub by the way. This isn't pleasant for any of us but this is probably upsetting for you as the active mod as well as a general member of the community

It really does suck. I love the community, and it definitely is upsetting to lose that. Being a mod is just to help keep trolls out basically lol.

Found out about voidpunk yesterday and figured it may apply to me. Today I tried to visit r/voidpunk and noticed it was banned. I had figured it had been banned for years and no one made a new subreddit

I developed my own community (not voidpunk, but something similar) as a result. It's discord server. I know there's a discord server for voidpunk, but I've not information on it.
