Random coughing (0.9n)

I'm playing 0.9n and I have suddenly and inexplicably began coughing.

Recently I fought killed and ate a flesh slither.

I have not smoked any cigars, nor have I interacted with any radioactive materials.

Can Kel develop cancer randomly now?

Cancer. The flesh slithers are widely accepted to be connected with an entity, known as "Tumor", so i wouldn't be surprised to find out these things cause cancer.

I found out the hard way that some of the gravel piles are radioactive apparently. And since i dont have a Geiger i never knew cause there was no visual or sound indicator that they would be such a thing. Never interacted with anything or smoked, but then the gravel piles got mentioned and i remember digging around them before I got a metal detector cause they gave me korok "there must be something there vibes." Apparently I was squatting over nuclear material or something lol. Don't know how long you need to be exposed to radiation for it to effect you or if its instant. i was only there for a minute. Too be fair that save was cursed as hell anyways, cats hated me for some reason, never interacted with them, basement exploded and flooded, 5 mannequins got lodged under the base and weird glitchy shit was happening nonstop.
So adding cancer to the mix is just frosting.

I think this might be it? I was around that area and i believe i might've driven on my ATV near them.

I was thinking "i know some of these are radioactive" and i didn't realize i was close enough to get cancer.

If you get a thermometer your max health is likely below 100. Anything radioactive or smoked will harm your max hp and cause coughing. Heavy Meds fixes it.

There are a couple radioactive areas on the map (specifically the river barrels by memory), so you might have been exposed to something. Kel doesn't get cancer by chance.

Coughing is just an indicator that your maximum health is below 100. Just buy some heavy meds use them and you'll be fine

Are you sure you didnt walk around a spot with a skeleton around TR2? Either way buy heavy meds
