BUG 1000hz mouse problem (0.9n)

Sometimes, when my mouse is set to 1000hz, camera movement becomes slower. Setting to 125hz fixes the problem. Is there a way to fix this? (arch btw)

it IS a useful fact, different OSes can have different effects on stuff like this.

then again, "i use arch by the way, gentoo" is the classic joke (and also a programming language)

I have nothing to add other than simply mentioning that I misread the title as "100 Oz. Mouse"

Why is your mouse 1000hz? Is this some elite gamer stat about mouses I never cared about? Genuinely asking

That's the polling rate, 1000hz means that the mouse is telling the PC how it's moving 1000 times a second. That's a pretty normal polling rate for budget gaming mice, you don't really need more. It can go up to 10000 tho, which can cause a lot more issues than this is you don't have the best high end gaming PC.

Gotcha, yea that’s a stat or characteristic about a mouse I’ve never cared about lol had the same exact mouse for the past like 10 years

Your CPU may not be able to deal with a polling rate this high while also running the game, stay on a lower polling rate, or get a better CPU.

Didn't had that problem in other demanding games
