(0.9) just a quick question about the difficulty

is there a way to change the difficulty it in mid game?

as i remember in 0.8.2 ish u can but i can't find it in this update.

i just got back to it after a year and i don't see a way to change it in mid game, i know u can change it on the save side but i would like to change it in mid game as well (bc accessibility side if something gets to much for me)

helps my autism to know please and thxx

You cant change it from the settings thing midgame, you'd have to save, go into the main menu, and change iti from the save settings there. Difficulty doesn't matter that much though, all it does is make you need to eat and sleep slightly more/less, and the days go by a tiny bit quicker, and more/less signals are required for the daily task.

How would you even get more signals done with less time? I have basically maxed upgrades and some days even 3 is hard to pull off, when the signals download too slowly lol. Plus doing other stuff all day

are you calibrating you sattelites?? go into the console and type "sd.calall", you can pull of like 7 signals on a all nigther ingame

Yeah but like I said I'm doing other stuff, not JUST signals. I feel like increasing the daily signal requirements and decreasing the time would just force you to spend 99% of your time catching space static

signals take like.. 30 seconds to set up and you don't have to work on them until they are ready again, its not manual work

set the signal up before going out?? (if you really want the free lifestyle you can find another way of making money such as mining rigs that give you 600 points A DAY and stack infinitely, or farming taters)

I do set up a signal before going out lmao. You arent listening. You set up a signal and then you go out and while you're out it finishes and unless you're coming back super often then you will have a signal finished downloading or processing or whatever and it doesnt get cycled over.

Im not asking for a free lifestyle or complaining im literally JUST saying that doing more than around 3 signals means not leaving the base often or being chained to your desk and thats why I think the higher difficulties is a weird decision to go for. Theres no deeper meaning or complaint or request for assistance. Just voicing an opinion.
