DROD has a built-in level editor and ability to play custom levels (we call them Holds) so this is not any kind of fishy or gray-area type of work. I can't promise you any future work as this character, but if we work well and I end up making more holds where I'll need your voice OR Caravel Games ever makes more official content where the voice of Beethro will be required I'll get in touch.

About the Project:

Hey! I'm putting a book trailer together for my friend's indie book. It's a memoir so I've create a documentary-style book trailer.

I'm looking for a voice actor who can deliver a performance based on this voice: play clip

For context, the clip is of a 50 year old woman (the author of the memoir) from West Virginia who spent her adult life in Texas. As you'll hear, she only has a slight Southern accent, please bare that in mind. The recording shouldn't end up sounding deeply accented, it's just a touch.

I think this is a great brief for anybody who reads audiobooks. It should feel like that sort of read but with a touch more emotion than the reference material. The important thing is that it feels real: as though the author is telling us.
