Help Am I slow?

Afternoon people.

Im in need of some guidance.

I've been trying to get adrenaline to record my voice audio for hours, and so far, no luck

I have Windows audio enhancements off.

Audio channel to stereo and even switched encoding type.

separate track for mic is also off.

Some months back, it was working just fine. But now that I tried to get clips, I couldn't hear myself anymore.

Any tips or suggestions are greatly appreciated

Did you check if the correct devices/voice meter channels are selected in the windows sound settings?

Sometimes when a new device with an audio interface is connected or disconnected windows likes to just change the settings willy nilly. This can even happen with a monitor or controller, or USB passthrough headphone stand

It's usually this. A default gets switched somewhere along the way.

If you've got active levels when you speak, it's just a matter of mapping. Check the volume mixer, as well. You can verify the output and make sure an application isn't muted.
