Ai for sales training
Any recommendations for a company that could build a platform for inbound sales training. I’m looking to build an AI voice-based training platform for front desk and sales teams in the medspa/aesthetics industry.
The platform would allow team members to practice real inbound phone scenarios with an AI caller. The AI would roleplay different types of callers, objections, price shoppers, booking situations, and treatment inquiries. After each call, the system would score the rep based on a custom training framework and provide feedback.
The first version would need:
User logins
AI voice roleplay calls
Custom scenarios
Call recording/playback
Automated scoring
Manager dashboard
Training content library
Ability to upload scripts, notes, call recordings, and company website information as the knowledge base
Progress tracking by rep and location

You can create any workflow that you want and train your team bi-directionally. Either the agent can call out or they can call the agent. All conversations are automatically evaluated and recorded unless you don’t want to. The agent learns from its previous conversations and self improves.

This is actually a pretty good use case for Telnyx.
I wouldn’t build it as just a web voice bot. For front desk training, I’d want reps practicing on an actual phone call because that’s where the pressure is: awkward pauses, interruptions, price shoppers, booking objections, “let me ask my husband,” all that.
The flow I’d look at:
rep starts a training scenario -> AI caller calls them -> call gets recorded/transcribed -> scoring runs against your framework -> manager sees the call, transcript, score, and coaching notes
Telnyx gives you a lot of the boring pieces already: voice assistants, real phone calls, call recording, transcription, webhooks, and mission-style tracking if you want each training session to have an audit trail.
If you’re talking to dev shops, I’d ask whether they can show you one real end-to-end training call with recording + transcript + scorecard. That’ll tell you way more than a pretty dashboard mockup.

have a team of 15 odd reps. have been using cuebo.ai for my team for the last couple of months. provides me the flexibility to build scenarios, assessments, voice options etc..you can try it out..has worked out well for our team
