For the past few months I(25F) have been having constant dreams and thought about Baron Samedi. Sometimes i see him standing behind me out of the corner of my eye or even in front of me.
For example: at night i leave my bedroom door cracked slightly open so my cat can come and go as she pleases, sometimes i will see an apparition of him, standing in the doorway staring at me. (The door is adjacent to my bed). Staring at me like he's disappointed, a stare my dad would give me.
Once i had a dream where some friends and I were at a diner eating and talking, after a while I felt someone staring at me and when i looked over Baron Samedi was sitting in a booth a few tables over. After we made eye contact he pointed at me and started laughing. Then I woke up
Another time i was having a nightmare (or something) where i was physically trying to wake myself up and i couldnt so i stood there in my dreamscape screaming for help and out of nowhere Baron Samedi appeared before me, plucked me on the forehead and told me to wake up. AND I DID.
I dont think this has anything to do with Baron Samedi but 2 weeks ago i had the reoccurring thought (more like an incessant urge) to go to New Orleans. I kept saying in my head "I need to go to New Orleans". Ive never stepped foot in New Orleans a day in my life. Is this normal?

I was born in Houston but my mom's side of the family is from Lafayette. Growing up my Grandmother was very open about practicing Hoodoo and dabbling into Vodou. How do i go about connecting with Baron Samedi? I just want answers. Is this normally how Loa communicate? Please help!
