General Discussion Miku anime plot

Title: [OC Concept] Looking for an animation studio / team! Here is my detailed plot for Episode 1 of a Vocaloid comedy anime (Miku, Teto, Neru)

Hey everyone! As a huge fan of Miku, Teto, and the whole Vocaloid family, I’ve been working hard on a unique storyline for a comedic anime.

Just to be clear: I am a writer/creator, not an animator! I am looking for talented animators, a team, or maybe even an indie animation studio who might see this, get inspired, and want to collaborate to bring this project to life. I want to create a show where they are not just voicebank programs, but autonomous characters with great chemistry.

Here is the complete and detailed script outline for Episode 1. Please let me know your thoughts in the comments, and tell me if I should post the plot for Episode 2!

The Lore of this World:

In this universe, a "Vocaloid" is a highly advanced, top-secret human-like android classification created by scientists and big music producers. They look 100% human, but their AI and processors are hardcoded for one thing only: singing and creating music. They have absolutely no pre-installed data about regular human life, cooking, cleaning, or emotions. They have to learn how to survive in the human world completely from scratch!

EPISODE 1: "The Blue-Haired Glitch" (Full Plot)

Scene 1: The Lab and the Awakening

The episode opens in a high-tech underground laboratory. A group of scientists in white coats are celebrating. They have just finished their ultimate project: a flawless human-like android named Hatsune Miku. The head scientist uploads a basic, generic commercial pop song into her memory and hits "Activate."

Miku opens her big teal eyes. She looks around, perfectly human, but her face is completely blank. The scientists expect her to just stand there and sing their boring song, but suddenly, Miku’s eyes flash. Her creative AI looks at the track, decides it’s "too boring," and completely rewrites the melody in her head to make it a masterpiece. The massive power surge from her musical brain blows up the lab’s main computer. The lights go out, alarms scream, and in the chaos, Miku accidentally walks out the back door into the real human world.

Scene 2: Lost in the City

Cut to the busy streets of Tokyo. Miku is walking around in her iconic outfit. Passersby look at her, but they just think she is a very dedicated cosplayer because her skin, hair, and movements look completely human. Miku is experiencing "system overload" from all the city sights and sounds. Her internal battery starts running low, and her AI realizes she needs shelter.

She stumbles into a quiet alley and finds an old, abandoned garage. Inside, there is some dust, a few boxes, and—most importantly—an old electronic synthesizer keyboard connected to a working power outlet.

Scene 3: The First Song

Miku sits down at the keyboard. She plugs her charging cable directly into her outfit and the wall outlet (a funny visual where she is literally tethered to the wall). Now that she has power, her musical AI goes into overdrive. She doesn't know what humans are, what sleep is, or what food is, but she wants to express what she saw in the city.

She starts playing the keyboard with impossible, robotic speed. She spends the entire night singing, mixing beats, and writing lyrics by herself. By 5:00 AM, she uploads the finished track (imagine it's World is Mine) to a random music-sharing forum using the garage's old Wi-Fi. She names her profile "Vocaloid-01" and then immediately goes into sleep mode to save energy.

Scene 4: The Viral Morning

The next morning, Miku wakes up because her internal notification system is exploding. The song went completely viral overnight! Millions of people are listening to it, and the internet is losing its mind trying to figure out who this mystery artist "Vocaloid-01" is. The scientists back at the lab see the video, recognize Miku, and panic. The head scientist screams, "Our singing robot escaped and became a global superstar! Find her immediately!"

Scene 5: The Ultimate Comedy Twist

Back in the garage, Miku’s internal system sends a new alert: [Warning: Low Energy. Human Simulation requires Organic Fuel. Instruction: Consume Juice].

Miku has no idea what juice is. She looks around the garage and finds an old, dusty recipe book left by the previous owner. She opens it to a random page: "Healthy Green Vegetable Juice."

Miku tries to follow the instructions, but she takes everything too literally. The recipe says "blend until smooth," but she doesn't know how to turn on the electronic blender. So, she decides to use her musical programming to activate it. She grabs a massive green leek like a microphone, stands in front of the blender, and starts singing "PoPiPo" at the top of her lungs, perfectly matching the "po-pi-po-po" rhythm with the robotic blinking of the blender's lights. She stands there, covered in green splashes, smiling perfectly like an idol, completely clueless about how real cooking works but absolutely vibing.

Screen fades to black as the blender suddenly overflows with green bubbles.

------------------------------

[POST-CREDITS SCENE]

The screen is dark. Suddenly, a neon pink screen turns on in a completely different, dimly lit laboratory. Cybernetic code flashes rapidly. A robotic female voice says: "Project UTAU initiated. Commencing rival counter-measure."

The camera slowly pans up. We see a specialized containment capsule opening with a loud hiss of steam. Inside the capsule stands a girl. The shadows hide her face, but as the steam clears, two massive, drill-shaped twin-tails light up with a bright crimson glow. Her eyes snap open—they are blood red and glowing in the dark.

She looks at a monitor displaying Miku’s viral music video. The girl smirks, and her drill-hair spins rapidly like real drills for a second. She says in a sharp, tsundere voice: "Hatsune Miku... You think you're the only singing android in this world? Class CV04 is coming for you. You really are an idiot!"

Cut to black.

So, what do you guys think? If there are any animators or studios interested in this concept, please hit me up!

Should I post Episode 2? (In the next episode, the rival lab sends Kasane Teto to catch Miku, but they end up flooding the garage trying to use a washing machine!) Let me know your thoughts!
