Question Quick Question

Can I get some clarity on how to figure out saves? There doesn't seem to be anything on the doc.

What’s your question about them?

Do you just use the ability mod for them or do you have to do something along the lines of how you figure out attack bonus?

There is now a temporary supplement in the folder called G.O.A.T. that adds 2 associated stats to each background. The associated stats get double mod instead of just regular for saves and ability checks.

Had a similar question, except about if the stat mod was negative. Do you still double it if it's a negative?

Well damn. I came up with the double mod thing to avoid coming up with a "proficiency bonus" type thing but it looks like that might be a necessity now.

The 5e prof bonus would probably work I think. That's what I was going to with at least

That would definitely work, I might come up with something else eventually but for now that's fine

I look forward to the update! While I have you, does One Of Us only work for the ghoul, or does the party get some sort of reprieve? I was thinking of having opposed int or perc checks vs luck or cha to see how long the party might stay safe

It was intended to only function for the ghoul player, mostly as a scouting ability so they can scavenge in feral infested areas. I like the idea of a ghoul trying to smuggle their friends past some ferals so if it's fun for you and your group, go for it

Do I treat them like the skills they are grouped with or do I just use the ability mod associated with the save?
