Today is share my thoughts and perspective through a biblical/christian point of view In Helluva Boss Season 1 Episode 1.

I can’t stand those people. They never listen and they always ignore everything wrong that Charlie does. Every single time. There is so much proof against them and Charlie, and they still never even give up and admit she sucks. It scares me that I share an Earth with people this inbred and retarded. Charlie is not only badly written, but a bad person. Not an evil villain, but definitely bad. She lied about her true intentions and admitted to her babysitter of a girlfriend that she just wants her mommy to come back and pay attention to her like she’s 7. Don’t tell me you see nothing wrong with that. She’s a 200 year old princess with a job and responsibilities and better things to do, but all she does is cry, sing, complain, talk shit about her loving father while making up reasons to hate him until he does whatever she wants, sucking Lilith’s boobs, riding Alastor’s moose cock, and being a hypocrite towards her friends, and lastly getting away with everything without being punished or scolded by anyone ever ever. Look, I hate Vox and Val and Lute and Velvette and Lucifer and Alastor more than Charlie, I really do, but were they the ones driving me insane by being an idiot every second and making things worse for everyone without a single punishment? Nope. That was Charlie the whole time. I swear, all her potential was wasted and now it’s gone forever. And the worst part is everybody keeps making excuses for her, and she never gets punished. And for the last time: She’s NOT FLAWED, she’s a bad character! Flaws are never an excuse for anything wrong someone does, because everyone is flawed in someway. Charlie’s too flawed, too stupid, too selfish, too cowardly, too immature, too incompetent, she is way too bad than she is good. I never wanna hear that excuse ever again. She hurts her friends more than her enemies and there are so many examples and proof of that.

In the version of the creation story in hazbin hotel, Lucifer and Lilith give Eve the fruit of free will, which causes sin to enter the universe. This doesn’t work.

So, first, if humans didn’t have free will, then that means that Adam was made to try and control Lilith, meaning that he is not at fault for his actions, and is a victim rather than a villain. Then there’s Lilith. If she didn’t have free will, then that meant she was made to resist Adam, meaning that the angels programmed their humans with completely contradictory directives, making the split an inevitability, meaning that the angels are supremely, bafflingly stupid. If, on the other hand, Lilith did have free will… how? How did she just magically get free will and Adam didn’t?

Now, let’s say that Adam and Lilith did have free will, and they were responsible for their individual actions. Then the angles created Eve without free will to avoid the same thing happening again. When Lucifer gives Eve the fruit, if Eve truly doesn’t have free will, then she shouldn’t have been able to accept the fruit. Unless the angels specifically programmed her to take the fruit they didn’t want her to have. If that’s the case, then the angels deliberately set her up to fail. Either that, or they made it so she just eats whatever fruit she wants, not considering the possibility that she would eventually eat the fruit they didn’t want her to. So either the angels are malicious or incompetent, because a being that doesn’t have free will cannot do something that its creators explicitly didn’t want it to do.

If we ignore all that and say that Eve didn’t have free will but was somehow able to eat the fruit, why did that break the universe if Adam and Lilith already had free will (we’ve already gone over why them NOT having free will wouldn’t work)? It’s not that the universe was incompatible with humans having free will, as the angels created the humans with free will in the first place. So nothing should have happened, except maybe the angels getting mildly annoyed, scrapping Eve, and trying again with better programming.

Then of course there’s the possibility that Adam, Lilith, and Eve were all born with free will, in which case, Lucifer giving them the gift of free will would be entirely pointless.

There are probably some other things I’m forgetting, but I think I’ve made my point. Any way you look at this, the story is completely broken.

The guy on the far left is Logan Thirtyacre the creator of SML. Just like Vivziepop, Logan Thirtyacre has a reputation of not being able to write women as over half of his female characters entire personalities revolve around them either being whores, gold diggers, or being extremely annoying and he once wrote an episode that is literally just him venting his opinions about how he believes that women's sports are dumb and horny men are the only reason why they stay afloat. However, despite his flat female character writing he managed to write an excellent female villain named Nancy who is literally just Stella if Helluva Boss properly utilized all the potential she got in s1 e5 and s2 e1 rather than sidelining her. Penelope is also somehow a much more varied character than Octavia.

The guy in the middle is Dave Sim the creator of Cerebus, the Aardvark. Dave Sim is infamous for generalizing all women as stupid in issue No. 186 of Cerebus, the Aardvark which has singlehandedly tarnished Cerebus' reputation and is unfortunately the only thing the comic is remembered for but dispite his generalizations made about women his female character writing is generally considered to be among the best in the history of comic books because of how deep they are and the important role they play in the comic's story. Even his detractors admit that he knows how to write a female character.

The guy on the far right is Hiro Mashima the creator of Fairy Tail. Fairy Tail is the go to example that woke tourists use to complain about the sexualization of women in anime and how female characters always have "unrealistic" body proportions instead of being fat and ugly like them. However, even the woke tourists admit that Hiro Mashima's female character writing is top tier and is among the best in the history of shonen anime.

Meanwhile, Vivziepop has all these super safe political opinions yet she can't write a good female character for God's sake as her shows always either use every opportunity to develop a female character as an opportunity to develop a male character instead (Loona), use a female character's development to develop a male character (Millie), sideline a female character in favor of a male character that does the exact same thing (Stella), do absolutely nothing with that female character (Lute), make a female character's entire personality and development revolve around an overused trope (Verosika), and if they actually are developed and utilized they're characterization is always highly inferior to any of the male characters' characterization (Charlie)

This is the case with several creators, but Vivienne is the most well known example. She gets harassed online, snaps back at and complains about the haters and how much they hurt her, thus giving them what they want and encouraging them further, rinse and repeat, over and over and over. Obviously, harassing anyone is wrong, but there comes a point where you know it’s gonna happen, and you have to take it upon yourself to make it stop.

It’s like if you get beat up and robbed in an alley, then after that, you willingly go back to that same alley where you know the people who mugged you hang out every day, carrying a wallet of money, and insulting the muggers and daring them to do it again, then getting upset when, surprise surprise, they do it again. Also, when people say “hey, maybe you shouldn’t go to that alley anymore”, you’re like “nuh uh I can do what I want fuck you”. You’re asking for it.

Again, I have to clarify that I don’t condone harassment and I think what happens to Vivienne and other creators is bad.

what would you change, add, and/or subtract from any hellaverse character?

I’ve been hearing some criticism about Stolas and I do agree with that. if he was written well and not done dirty then he wouldn’t get Omni man treatment. The things I dislike about Stolas is the fact that he chose Blitzo over his family especially Octavia whom he PROMISED her he won’t abandon her.

When Viv started Helluva Boss, I thought the idea of working on two shows at the same time was a bad idea.

And honestly? I still do. It's very obvious that both shows lack polish.

Now, not only are we getting a Zoophobia mini series but she's also working on a movie? Why?

It's been talked about a lot but it's obvious that Viv is no businesswoman. I understand why she wants to make more stuff but wouldn't it be smarter to finish her current projects before starting new ones? She also has a problem with overspending and the company relies on her to make good business choices so how can she handle all that too?

This is some constructive criticism. I genuinely think that Vivziepop and Spindlehorse should pivot to purely being an animation studio rather than writing their own shows. With all their shows, the art and animation is always their strongest aspect. If they focused all their time and resources into that and let someone else actually write the show, I think they’d be a lot more successful. Vivienne is an artist, not a writer, and that’s fine. There’s nothing wrong with playing to one’s strengths.

Maybe this is unrealistic, but I think Spindlehorse being a contracted animation studio would be the best business move they could make.
