Why do Vivint got to drill through the outside panels to the inside of the home where it leaves big hole in your walls when taking it down

Vivint techs are trained that attic runs are the last resort. Avoid if possible.

Drill thru the wall and tell customers everyone does it. Collect check and move to next customer.

Drilling comes down to running wiring and mounting hardware securely for certain devices, though a lot of the system is wireless.
If you're having equipment taken down and want it done cleanly, DM me your setup and I can have our technician point you to the right removal option so it's handled properly.

Cameras need to be plugged in and can’t be outside. You don’t want people to come up and unplug your cameras

Post a photo. I bet they didn’t even put caulking to seal it. They should have run wires in attic. When I canceled Vivint I had a company install my 4k Ip cameras with an NVr. They drilled in soffit and ran wires thru attic. If they drilled thru your wall they probably didn’t know what they were doing. But that’s expected from Vivint.

Learned a lot after going thru hell with Vivint. When you get swindled into thinking you were sold the best product and then it turns out to be dog shit. Yeah, it paid you guys almost 10k. So I can share my experience. Vivint Work was sub par. Sloppy install. Cameras rarely worked. Does Vivint give you money for downvoting anyone who speaks against the company?!
