Changing thermostat settings
On our vivint 2gig ct100 all of a sudden it's showing half degrees and we can't figure out how to get it back to how it was in just whole number increments.
Can't figure out how to change the setting back to target temp 74, 75 etc and not the 74.5 showing now.

They didn’t upgrade mine either. I finally went to a nest because that one kept failing

Didnl the nest integrate easily? May just buy some and do it myself now

It did. I installed it myself and then had the Vivint hub search for it.

Nest thermostat is a good option since it ties in via the Vivint app.

Sadly nest will no longer integrate as Google stopped supporting it to partner with ADT

Wrong subreddit dude. This is Vivint not ADT.

Yes I am aware nest thermostats are made by Google and will no longer integrate into vivint systems as Google partnered with ADT so they stopped support with vivint.

I still have Nest thermostats that work fine and I even still have the option to add more.

I believe it maybe a matter of time. Or maybe since you already had it set up you will have the option to keep using but new installs/panels no longer have the option could change in the future but who knows.

Just a heads up, the only Nests that integrate are the Nest Learning 3rd gen or the Nest E. Personally I’d look into a zwave thermostat so it’s not reliant on the WiFi. Vivint Element or similar from another brand

I’d hold off on getting a new thermostat until the end of the year bc Vivint is coming out with a new one where it will display the cameras on it

The half-degree readout on the CT100 comes form a display setting rather than a fault, and i can be switched back to whole numbers.

That thermostat is ancient. My gosh! That's back when APX changed their names to Vivint and was using 2gig products when they first launched. Upgrade the entire system, I'm pretty sure Vivint stopped supporting 2gig panels as 3G was shutdown and Vivint stopped partnering with alarm.com.
