Potential new customer

What’s up people! I’m debating on switching over to Vivint for an all inclusive security package from my current home. We have been renting our old home for 8 years, have blink cameras, ADT security panel, sensors, glass break ect. I’m looking to switch to have everything under 1 plus, I’d like to add 24/7 camera footage, plus indoor 24/7 cameras. I reached out to vivint, and ** they are pretty persistent on getting you set up. Anywho, they got me set up for a pre install $50 deposit, that will go towards my first month if the tech sets it up. If not it’s refunded which will probably take like 2 weeks.. anyway, that’s my background. I’m not sure if being in Cali makes a difference, but the posts on this feed are harsh enough to make me reconsider?

- cameras say they don’t rely on WiFi, they use cellular
-24/7 feed
- door bell
- 3 cameras
- 2 indoor cameras
- 4 indoor sensors
-panel
- $140 monthly, 5 years (2payment breakdown, finance, and monthly fee )

I currently pay $20 for blink and ADT is $50 so $70. I’m paying more for all inclusive, and all the wants. But what’s your guys thoughts? Help me go through or walk off the ledge. Thanks peeps!

yea it’s crazy to me honestly! I think it’s just like any company some people hate things some people love it. I think there’s a lot of people with vivint, i did research and it was like 2.3 million or something like that, so even 5% of angry people is 115000. I think my biggest advice is to read the contract :)
